Hello all! It’s been a minute. As you may or may not have noticed, I haven’t been posting the past few weeks; work stress reached an all-time high that had me literally losing sleep. It was all I could do just to maintain my exercise routine and I struggled with getting proper nutrition. I also injured myself and then proceeded to not go to the doctor for a couple of weeks because I didn’t realize just how bad it was until it was getting treated (my pain tolerance is too high for my own good). And don’t even get me started on maintenance bills for my house.
The good news, though, is that I think things have calmed down enough that I can start to get back into regular posting next week. Hooray!
Furthermore, I am working on trying to find a publisher for my novella/novellete (depends on who you ask) Dinner Date, which has reached its fifth draft and is now as finished as I am currently willing to make it. I think I have at least one so far that I am interested in working with, but it will probably take a few more rounds through the Submission Grinder before I can find exactly what I’m looking for. I have a spreadsheet that I am updating as I go with details and tucking away a few publishers/magazines that aren’t necessarily right for this project but I would love to work with in the future.
Finally, it’s Bi Week! Happy Bi Week! Now is probably as good a time as any to mention that I am bisexual and it’s safe to assume that every character I write is also bisexual until proven otherwise.
